Lancaster Iron Works opened a small shipyard in Perryville for the war effort and closed it in 1950. It was located in Frenchtown, about a mile above Perryville, just below the railroad bridge. See the site from the air on Google here. If anyone can provide any information about the ships it built, please e-mail me at timcolton@aol.com.
