(formerly Alaska Ship & Dry Dock)
Most recent update: May 16, 2012.
Alaska Ship & Dry Dock Company was created by Alaska DoT in the 1980s as a repair yard for Alaskan ferries. It had several operators over the years and was heavily supported by public agencies. In 2012, it was acquired by Vigor Industrial, which also owns the former Todd yard in Seattle and US Barge in Portland. Visit the shipyard here and see it from the air on Google here.
