Washburn & Doughty was established by Bruce Washburn and Bruce Doughty in Woolwich ME, in 1977: they moved in 1984 to the shipyard in East Boothbay that had previously been operated by Eddie Gamage, and before that by Alfred Fuller Shipbuilding.  Visit the shipyard at www.washburndoughty.com.  See the shipyard from the air on Google here.
