Bendixsen Shipbuilding, Fairhaven CA

Most recent update: June 29, 2012.

Bendixsen Shipbuilding was started in 1865 by Hans-Ditlev Bendixsen, a Danish immigrant.  He built over 115 lumber schooners before selling the yard in 1901.  It appears to have closed in about 1910.  You can see the site from the air on Google here.  If anyone can add to the table below or tell me what happened to the yard, please send your info to timcolton@aol.com
