Oscar Daniels Shipbuilding was a subsidiary of Oscar Daniels Contractors & Engineers, of Chicago, which was run by a Norwegian immigrant originally named Oscar Danielsen.  The yard closed in 1922 and the principals all moved back to  Chicago.  It was located at the inner end of the Ybor Channel, where International Ship Repair is today.
