Froemming Bros. was built for the war effort and was only in operation from 1942 through
1945. The site was on the north side of the Kinnickinnic river, just
west of South 1st Street: it was later the Wagner Iron Works and is
currently occupied by Milwaukee Marine Yacht. See it from the air on
