Pusey & Jones, of Wilmington DE, started a
second shipyard for the WWI effort, in Gloucester City NJ: it was initially called
Pennsylvania Shipbuilding Company, but this was changed after only two ships to
Pusey & Jones and again, after hull #19, to New Jersey Shipbuilding Company.
The yard was closed after the war. |
