DECATUR IRON & STEEL

Decatur AL

Most recent update: August 30, 2021.

Decatur Iron & Steel Co. was a subsidiary of Decatur Cornice & Roofing Co.  It was in operation in the 1930s and after the war but appears to have built ships only during WWII.  If anyone can provide any information about either the yard or the ships it built, please e-mail it to me at timcolton@aol.com.
