Kane Boiler Works was established by Joseph J. Kane in 1892 at 27th and Mechanic Street.  For WWII, they added a yard for new construction, called Kane Shipbuilding, at the foot of 37th Street.  It closed in the 1970s.  If anyone can add to the table below, please e-mail timcolton@aol.com
