Rockport Yacht & Supply Company, or RYSCO, was founded by T. Noah Smith, Sr., in 1935 and became a leading builder of fishing boats: they closed in 1987.  A second shipyard was added in Blountstown FL when the offshore market took off in the early 1970s, but closed when it collapsed again in 1982.  The Rockport shipyard was at the north end of Water Street: see the empty site from the air on Google here.  The Blountstown shipyard was on the Apalachicola River, at the end of Yates Drive, southeast of the town: see the empty site from the air on Google here.  If anyone can add to the table below, please send your info to timcolton@aol.com.
